Building a Smart Library: CYUT Advances Interlibrary Services
CYUT's Poding Memorial Library plays a vital role in interlibrary cooperation and information service sharing, recently receiving the Innovative Service Award from the Interlibrary Cooperation Association. The library hosted a sustainability-related puzzle activity during the Book Festival, incorporating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into a puzzle-solving event that engaged teams from various institutions, promoting resource sharing and social innovation. Additionally, it has collaborated with other libraries for themed exhibitions and joined alliances to enhance interlibrary management. The library has implemented the OCLC WorldShare Management Services, a cloud-based library system, to reduce costs and improve security while increasing its international visibility through the WorldCat platform. It attracts researchers worldwide and enhances its services as a smart library committed to sustainability and community engagement.
